Sticky Rice Pu-erh, also known as Nuo Mi Xiang Pu-erh, is an aromatic ripe pu-erh tea from Yunnan Province. This tea combines the rich, earthy depth of 2018 fermented pu-erh with the distinctive fragrance of sticky rice leaves, known in Chinese as Nuo Mi Xiang Ye (糯米香叶).

The comforting sticky-rice aroma does not come from actual glutinous rice. It is created by combining ripe pu-erh with aromatic sticky rice leaves, which naturally produce a warm, sweet fragrance reminiscent of steamed glutinous rice and traditional Asian desserts.

The 2018 ripe pu-erh has undergone controlled fermentation and several years of maturation, developing a smooth texture, mellow body and rounded earthy character. The sticky rice leaves soften the deeper fermented notes and add a naturally sweet, soothing aroma.

When brewed, Sticky Rice Pu-erh produces a deep reddish-brown liquor with a rich and inviting fragrance. The flavour is smooth, mellow and highly aromatic, with notes of warm sticky rice, aged wood, gentle earthiness and natural sweetness, followed by a soft and lingering finish.

Each tea brick is individually pressed, making the tea convenient for daily brewing, travel or sharing with friends. Its gentle character, low bitterness and comforting fragrance make it an approachable choice for both new and experienced pu-erh drinkers.
