Jasmine Liu Bao Tea is a distinctive dark tea that combines the mellow depth of aged Liu Bao tea with the elegant fragrance of fresh jasmine blossoms. This tea was produced in 2015 and carefully matured before undergoing repeated traditional jasmine scenting.

Liu Bao tea originates from Guangxi Province and belongs to the family of post-fermented dark teas. Through fermentation and ageing, the tea gradually develops a smooth texture, deep colour and rounded flavour, with the stronger notes of newly produced tea becoming softer and more integrated over time.

After ageing, the 2015 Liu Bao tea is repeatedly scented with freshly picked jasmine blossoms. During each scenting round, the tea is layered with fresh flowers so that it can naturally absorb their fragrance. The blossoms are then carefully removed before the process is repeated, creating a lasting floral aroma without the use of artificial flavouring.

The mature character of the Liu Bao tea provides a mellow and earthy foundation, while the jasmine adds freshness, elegance and gentle sweetness. This creates an unusual yet harmonious balance between aged dark tea and refined floral fragrance.

When brewed, Jasmine Liu Bao Tea produces a deep reddish-brown liquor with a rich and inviting aroma. The flavour is smooth, mellow and rounded, with notes of jasmine, aged wood, gentle earthiness and subtle sweetness, followed by a soft and lingering floral finish.

It is an excellent choice for those who enjoy the depth of aged dark tea but prefer a fresher and more aromatic style. The jasmine fragrance remains expressive across multiple infusions while allowing the mature character of the Liu Bao tea to remain present.
