Green Spiral (Bi Luo Chun) First Flush Superfine 50g
Green Spiral, traditionally known as Bi Luo Chun, is one of China’s most treasured green teas. It originates from the Dongting Mountain area near Taihu Lake in Jiangsu Province, where tea bushes are often grown among fruit trees, giving the tea its famously fresh and fruity fragrance.
The name “Bi Luo Chun” means “Green Snail Spring”, referring to its delicate spiral-shaped leaves and spring harvest season. The dry leaves are small, curled and covered with fine white pekoe, showing the tenderness of the young tea buds.
When brewed, Green Spiral produces a bright, clear tea liquor with a fresh floral aroma, soft fruit sweetness and a lively green tea character. Compared with Dragon Well, it is usually more aromatic and delicate, with a lighter, more refreshing mouthfeel.
