Golden Monkey Black Tea 50g

Golden Monkey Black Tea is a premium Chinese black tea grown in high-mountain regions at an average altitude of approximately 1,200 metres. The fresh mountain air, fertile soil, misty forests and significant temperature differences between day and night create ideal conditions for developing tea leaves with a rich aroma and naturally sweet flavour.
 
These mountains are also known as part of the natural habitat of the golden monkey. The tea is named for the distinctive appearance of its dry leaves, which are finely curled with abundant golden tips and are traditionally said to resemble a monkey’s claws.
 
The tender leaves and golden buds are carefully harvested before undergoing withering, rolling, full oxidation and drying. This process develops the tea’s smooth texture, warm fragrance and layered flavour while preserving its natural sweetness.
 
When brewed, Golden Monkey Black Tea produces a bright amber to reddish-golden liquor with a rich and inviting aroma. The flavour is smooth and rounded, with notes of cocoa, malt, honey, dried fruit and gentle caramel sweetness.
 
The tea has a full yet balanced body, with very little bitterness and a clean, lingering finish. It is an excellent choice for those who enjoy naturally sweet and aromatic black teas with depth, warmth and a soft mouthfeel.
