Earl Grey is one of the world’s most iconic flavoured black teas, recognised for its bright citrus aroma, elegant character and smooth, refreshing taste.
 
Its signature fragrance comes from bergamot, a fragrant citrus fruit traditionally grown in the Mediterranean region. Bergamot oil, extracted from the fruit’s rind, is blended with black tea to create Earl Grey’s distinctive balance of rich tea flavour and uplifting citrus notes.
 
When brewed, Earl Grey produces a clear amber to reddish-golden liquor with a fresh and expressive aroma. The flavour is smooth and lively, with notes of bergamot, citrus peel, gentle malt and a light floral character, followed by a clean and lingering finish.
 
Elegant and versatile, Earl Grey may be enjoyed on its own, with a small amount of milk, or with a slice of lemon according to personal preference. It is also an excellent choice for afternoon tea and pairs well with cakes, pastries and light desserts.
