Jasmine Silver Needle is a refined scented white tea made from carefully selected Silver Needle buds with a clean, fresh aroma and naturally delicate sweetness. The tender, silvery buds provide an elegant tea base that beautifully absorbs the fragrance of fresh jasmine blossoms.
 
Jasmine tea has a history of more than 700 years and is traditionally associated with Fujian Province. It is made by scenting high-quality green tea or white tea with freshly picked jasmine flowers, allowing the tea leaves to gradually absorb the flowers’ natural aroma.
 
Our Jasmine Silver Needle undergoes SEVEN rounds of traditional jasmine scenting. During each round, fresh jasmine blossoms are carefully layered with the tea so that the buds can absorb their sweet floral fragrance. The flowers are then removed before the process is repeated with a fresh batch of blossoms.
 
This repeated scenting process creates a deep, elegant and long-lasting jasmine aroma without the use of artificial flavouring. In high-quality jasmine tea, most of the flowers are carefully filtered out after scenting, as the fragrance has already been absorbed by the tea. Only a small amount may remain for visual presentation.
 
When brewed, Jasmine Silver Needle produces a clear, pale golden liquor with a rich yet refined floral fragrance. The flavour is smooth, fresh and naturally sweet, with notes of jasmine, white flowers, honeydew melon and soft sugarcane, followed by a clean and lingering finish.
 
The delicate character of Silver Needle balances the fuller jasmine aroma, creating an elegant tea that remains fragrant across multiple infusions without becoming heavy or overpowering.
