Japanese Genmaicha (Roasted rice green tea) 50g

Japanese Genmaicha is a traditional Japanese green tea blended with roasted brown rice. Originally enjoyed as an everyday household tea, Genmaicha is now widely appreciated for its comforting roasted aroma, smooth flavour and distinctive balance between fresh green tea and warm, nutty rice notes.
 
The green tea base provides a fresh and lightly vegetal character, while the roasted rice adds a toasted, cereal-like aroma and gentle sweetness. Some of the rice grains may pop during roasting, giving Genmaicha its familiar and charming appearance.
