This blue-and-white porcelain yashou (press-hand) cup features the classic Frozen Cherry Blossom (Bingmei) design—an iconic motif originating from Qing-dynasty Jingdezhen porcelain. The pattern depicts cherry blossoms framed by ice-like crackles, symbolising purity, resilience, and winter elegance.
 
The decoration is created using the traditional Fen Shui technique, where diluted cobalt is brushed onto the surface to produce soft, misty gradients. This gives the blossoms a gentle, translucent beauty unique to this style of blue-and-white ware.
 
Shaped in the signature yashou cup form, it has a slightly weighted base that fits naturally in the hand, offering both stability and comfort. With an approximate capacity of 100ml, it is perfectly suited for gongfu-style tea brewing or for use as a refined, collectible piece.
