Rizhao Green Tea comes from Rizhao in Shandong Province and is recognised by tea experts as one of three coastal green teas all over the world. It is also known as one of the northernmost green teas produced in China.
 
Due to its northern growing environment, the tea region has a significant temperature difference between day and night. This cooler climate allows the tea leaves to grow more slowly, helping them develop a thicker leaf texture, richer taste and a refreshing aroma.
 
Compared with many southern Chinese green teas, Rizhao Green Tea often has a stronger body, a more pronounced freshness and a satisfying roasted-green character. It is especially suitable for customers who enjoy a green tea with a clean aroma and a more robust flavour.
